Best experience of this tour was getting to interact with Thoroughbred yearlings at the first farm visited, the KatieRich Farm. Our lively, well versed guide Sean, informed us that the yearlings were the safest to interact with....the older horses can be "not so nice." Our group thoroughly enjoyed being able to pet some of the gorgeous young horses in the yearling barn...really quite magical! And the farm itself was breathtaking; stunning green meadows and trees as far as you could see. We also enjoyed the stop we made at a country store with hand made pastries and outside tables with umbrellas....lovely! I would respectfully suggest that the tour is too long. After the first farm, we had no further interactions with any horses; we only viewed them in their pastures. We drove around the second farm, got out, looked at the scenery, took some photos, and then went back in the van...I think this stop could be eliminated. The third farm we visited, we didn't have any interactions with any of the horses either, but that farm was stunningly beautiful and is the resting place for Seattle Slew....the gorgeous grounds were well worth visiting and I doubt there is a prettier farm in the vicinity! So all in all, we were all happy we took this tour but would just suggest it be shorter in duration. (Unless the opportunity is there to interact with some of the horses on each farm visited....that would make the extra time worthwhile.)

Loved the tour and Shaun the tour guide was great. Definitely recommend this. My teenage granddaughter and friend both thoroughly enjoyed it as well

I recently took this tour. The guide,Shawn was very knowledgeable. I was disappointed that we only saw horses up close at one Farm. One was a drive through, Shawn said they were testing the company out. It was a new farm. The last was a stop where we could view the Stud Barns from a distance. I don't think the cost was worth it.
