On our last visit to Lexington, we went to Claiborne Farm which was also great but this was a completely different experience. Just as the name implies this tour is a unique horse tour. You are able to go behind the scenes and visit several private horse farms. Places you wouldn't normally get to see. We were able to even get out and pet some of the very expensive horses. It was so cool to see some of the babies as well! Shaun, the owner, is an excellent tour guide as well. He is a native of Lexington so he is very knowledgeable about the area, the people, and the horse farm industry. He picked us up in a comfortable, small bus directly from our hotel. The groups are small so that is nice as well.

We had a fabulous tour of the beautiful Lexington horse farms. Shawn Washington was the BEST guide you could have as he both knowledgeable and entertaining. We were surprised at the caliber of horses we were able to visit and pet. This is a fantastic tour and would love to do it again....on not such a rainy day!
