Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

In compliance with updated Tennessee guidelines, we are frequently sanitizing our gear and have marked floor guides so you can keep social distance within our retail building. Please bring a face mask for the bus shuttle. A ziplock bag will keep it dry during your river trip.

Conveniently located on the river. You can raft right back to the property from the put-in point. The guides were great. The whole family had a great time.

My wife and I have been to Smokey Mountain Outdoors two times for rafting. They were so much better than the other companies (customer service/booking ease) we decided to bring the entire family for the kids first rafting trip. We had Tanner as our guide and he was fansatic with the kids. He hit the perfect lines for the biggest splashes. He was very layed back and encouraging with the kids and shared some funny air mattress stories with us. It was a huge success and a day the kids will never forget.

My husband and I rafted with SMO a few years ago and knew this was the best outfitter to take our siblings and nieces (ages 8 & 9) while in the area. Those 4 were first timers and nervous. Our guide, Abram, did a fantastic job of making everyone comfortable until the jitters wore out. By the end, the girls were asking for more rapids and asking to get soaked! We will always raft with SMO!
