Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

This was our first trip to the Smoky Mountains and our first whitewater rafting experience. During our trip down the Upper Pigeon River we enjoyed great scenery, great company and most of all a fantastic guide! Our experience was the highlight of our vacation. The rafting itself was great but Randy made it fantastic!! If you want the best experience you want Randy to be your guide!!

Randy was an amazing guide and has many years of experience on various types of waters in many different locations around the world. I am definitely a scaredy cat but promised my new husband I would do some “outdoorsy” activities on our honeymoon. Randy put me at ease and allowed us to have an exciting and trilling time while always remaining safe and secure in our raft! We did not capsize and no one fell out of the boat! I definitely recommend SMO and get Randy if you can!!!

This is soooo worth doing! The facility is great. The river is great! Just enough to be thrilling but not too scary. ASK FOR RANDY for a tour guide. Super friendly fun guy and a pro. Look for the guy with the giant beard.
