Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

First of all, Randy was our guide for this white water rafting trip. He was very knowledgeable and is also a TN native, so we learned a lot of neat things about the area from him! It was my wife’s first white water rafting experience and he made her feel very comfortable throughout the whole trip. We had such a blast and would definitely recommend signing up with SMO for this experience.

Randy our guide did a superb job guiding us down the river. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. This was our very first rafting trip and we will be back ! Excellent staff, clean restrooms and showers. Fantastic excursion ! Well worth the trip. Thanks again Randy. Rosa & Mike

We came to Gatlinburg as part of a spring break youth trip and decided to go white water rafting while here. Upon searching for local rafting companies we found this one and I must say I’m glad we did. We had two amazing guides on our tour Paul and Al who made our first time white water rafting entertaining, exciting, and a memory to hold on to forever. I plan to come back every time I visit Gatlinburg in the future. I highly recommend this for all ages and rather you have experience with white water rafting or not!
