Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

We just finished with our white water rafting trip with Dean at Smoky Mountain Outdoors. He was awesome- called all 6 of us in our raft by names every time and asked a little about each person. He was very personable. We were on the river with another 8 rafts from our group and many others from other companies. Our group stood out. We named our team and would yell our team name out loud while paddling. Reverand Dean, as he is called made this a memorable and fun expedition. There was not 1 other raft on the water having as much fun as we did. He challenged us by going backwards down several areas of the river but always kept our safety as his highest priority. I highly recommend Smoky Mt Outdoors and Rev Dean. He was AMAZING.

Great summer adventure with the kids. Nate was our guide. Highly recommend him. Four or Five grade IV rapids, several grade III.
