Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

Although somewhat apprehensive, I let my husband and 13 year old daughter talk me into the upper river trip. I've always wanted to do this, but was somewhat afraid. Eliza, our guide, was fabulous!!!! She told me I would be fine, would have fun and would keep an eye out for me. By the time we cleared the 1st Class IV rapid, I knew she was right! I felt like a pro!! I loved the trip, the people we were paired with in the raft, the water fights with the other rafts in our group, the beauty on the water, the teamwork of our raft group, the guides watching out for each other, and the entire experience riding the rapids!! I also very much enjoyed Eliza for talking to us all and making me feel special I completely forget my fears and had a blast!! She also was a model of how strong a woman can be...after a short swim, she pulled my husband, the other man in with us and two teenagers out of the water into the boat like they were nothing...very strong! Thanks SMO and Eliza for making this one of the most enjoyable events of our vacation!!

My Girl Scouts absolutely loved white water rafting. For our first time, this was a great place. Our guides were Casey and Wesley and both were knowledgeable with fun personalities. They made us all feel comfortable and we had such a great experience. Can't wait to go back!

For my first experience, I'd say this way top notch. Easy to get to, easy to book, good pricing, a well oiled machine! They crank out a LOT of visitors here, but the day all went surprisingly smooth. Our guide, Jeff was great. A little funny , very knowledgable, and super pleasant. I have to admit, the rafting itself wasn't as white-watery as I was expecting/hoping for. Apparently, we had missed the "big water" by a couple of weeks. None the less, the boat ride down the river was a lot of fun! We did get a bit soggy and had an opportunity to wade in river towards the end of the trip if we chose. Great choice for beginners and families!
