USS Arizona Package

Overview

National Park Service’s USS Arizona Package is perfect for couples coming to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.

Check in with your Viator tour voucher at the USS Arizona Memorial Narrated Tour desk, located in the courtyard of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Open daily from 7am to 5pm with free parking. (Sorry, no phone check-ins). Open 362 days a year, closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Important Information
• This program does not include the movie/boat tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial, please visit the National Park Service’s website at recreation.gov ( or call toll free US/Canada at 1-877-444-6777), tickets are available two months out and are only $1.50 each. Or come early, each day there are an additional 1,300 free tickets given out at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center on a first come, first serviced basis, and gates opens at 7am.

Each time I visit the memorial, it always brings back the historical elements of the attack and the complete story of the attack on December 7, 1941. The story of what happened to the USS Arizona, before, during, and after the attack is very moving. In addition to the USS Arizona Memorial, people should also obtain the Passport to Pearl Harbor ticket so they can visit the submarine USS Bowfin, the submarine museum, the battleship USS Missouri, the memorial for the USS Oklahoma, and the Pacific Aviation museum. An all day affair but well worth the cost.

My third visit and was (again) moved in paying respects to the many who paid the ultimate price in their service to our country. This is a "must do" for everyone. I didn't know or remember that you cannot take any bag or purse into the park (there is a check bag stand/trailer located outside park for $6 per bag plus a long line to stand in to check your bag) so either bring you items in a clear bag (permitted) or don't bring them (phone, camera, and/or wallet are ok). Aside from that minor point, it is amazing! Do see the video with historic footage (looping outside rather than in the theater since COVID) before you take the short boat ride to the memorial. It helps to set the stage for those who may not remember the history of this special monument.
