Alaska Exquisite Travel is a company to count on. While no company can guarantee what wildlife you will see - we had a magical tour. We saw Beluga whales and mountain sheep on the way out to beautiful Portage glacier. At the wildlife center, the Arctic fox napped in plain sight, while we viewed lots of other animals including a show from the black and brown bears. But the star of Alaska Exquisite Travel is Jeremy. He responded to our pre-tour text questions even on a Sunday evening. He was patient with a couple that wandered off and needed to be found before the tour could continue. He is so dedicated to providing a great and safe experience to his customers that he washed his van at midnight after a full day’s work so that it would be clean and ready for our a.m. tour.

Jeremy was an excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the Portage Glacier cruise on a splendid sunny day, the salmon spawning, and the Wildlife Refuge. Only recommendation is to have a lunch included as part of the package.

The tour director was very pleasant. However, the tour itself is really overrated and certainty not worth $200.00. The Portage Glacier lake cruise is also not worth seeing for this price. You can take the lake tour yourself and pay $45.00/pp. The wildlife preserve is also something you can do on your own for $16-18/pp. The other spots they take you to are public access and easy to view if you desire. Totally disappointed and a waste of money for sure.
