This was awesome. Definitely upgrade to first class so you have less people to contend with for the outside cart and also bathroom. The staff was friendly and more that willing to answer questions along the way on a variety of topics. The food is buffet style but enough to keep everyone happy. The scenery is out of this world. If you have never done a train ride this is an excellent beginners course. We will definitely be back to do this again in a different season to see the differences in the terrain.

It was a very pleasurable day. Four hours or so through beautiful rugged scenic views and interesting history. The only downside was our car attendant was loud and have a grating voice who was not destined for the comedy circuit, but found a home in the Verda Valley. The food and drinks are a tad over priced but a wide selection was available.

Thank you very much for your candid review. We are glad you enjoyed seeing this wonderful Canyon. If you would like to share with us what day you rode our train, and which train car you were in, we would very much appreciate it. [email protected].

This was definitely on our list of activities to do in the Sedona area. We booked first class tickets and it was well worth the price. Actually we stopped in the gift shop before the trip and purchased panini's to share, but if you are going first class the appetizers on the train are more than enough. There is champagne and/or apple cider to begin your trip. The scenery is fantastic, you are able to view it from your car or go to the outside car which is adjacent to the first class car. Our waitress was so funny we said she could get a job as a comedian, also very knowledgeable. We were able to see a bald eagle, but if you are looking for more creatures, they are hard to find. All in all the four hour trip passed quickly, but will not be forgotten.
