What To Expect

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Travelers will take of from Hilo Airport where they will fly directly to the volcanoes national park. Along the way they will see orchid farms and lush native forest that are in large part only found on big island. The volcanoes national park gives breathtaking views of lava flows both old and new.

Sam was an amazing pilot and tour guide! Learned so much and had such a great ride flying over cinder cones, the Kilauea caldera, seeing hot lava, waterfalls, desert and farms! Highly recommend!!

Sam was our pilot and did a truly amazing job! She provided a wealth of information and was super easy going! Great experience overall and a beautiful way to see the island and active volcanoes! Flight was longer than expected as well at close to 55 minutes!

The tour was amazing from start to finish. Cookie was so sweet and friendly getting us checked in and doing the safety briefing. Our pilot Sam was incredible as a pilot and a tour guide. The flight was smooth and beautiful, the lava was an amazing sight to see. She did several passes over the lava on both sides of the helicopter so all of our group had several chances to see things. We even saw 2 new little lava pools open up on our last pass. Our 2.5 year old loved it as much as the rest of us & when he started getting more antsy towards the end Sam was great at making conversation with him to put him back at ease.
