What To Expect

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Travelers will take of from Hilo Airport where they will fly directly to the volcanoes national park. Along the way they will see orchid farms and lush native forest that are in large part only found on big island. The volcanoes national park gives breathtaking views of lava flows both old and new.

Captain Ms. Sam was excellent! This was our first helicopter ride and we had the best experience ever! Ride was super smooth with breathtaking views of the island. She was also a great tour guide pointing out many sites. She also told us about Kaumana Caves which are old lava tubes. We drove there right after and enjoyed checking them out. Definitely recommend Safari Helicopters, we booked the private tour directly from their website. Really enjoyed having a window seat for each of us (group of 3) and space to stretch out. There are 4 tight seats in the back and a seat in front for 2 smaller people(or kids).
