Drove 2 hours to the airport and the flight was cancelled due to bad weather. Staff was nice but we were disappointed

Aloha Lynn, Hilo Weather changes very quickly and the pilot makes a weather call for each time independently at check in time. It is important to us that we can deliver a safe quality tour.

We were looking forward to seeing the crater of the volcano with lava and lava flows flowing into the sea. We saw NOTHING. Just a few poor waterfalls and the coast near Hilo. We are very disappointed.

Aloha Radek and Ivana, Mahalo for giving us this opportunity to remind everyone that tours that deal with Natural occurring events do not guarantee sightings. The area of tour covered is as promised but there was never a promise of red lava or flows entering the ocean. On the day and time of your tour the Kilauea Volcano was pumping out a tremendous amount of smoke but no red lava anywhere on Island.

Safari Helicopters handled the situation wonderfully. Personally we were disappointed because weather came in and we were unable to see the Park. We had to have a "group consensus" for the alternative trip (a waterfall, coastline, small crater). I was disappointed with my seat as I felt that I saw more of the back of people's heads (again it was how they could keep us safe).
