What To Expect

Volo Museum

Sprawled out over 35 acres, the Volo Auto Museum is home to over 33 exhibits and display attractions including a camper museum, military museum, train tours, cars of the rich and famous, a Batmobile collection, muscle cars, classic cars, vintage bicycles, and much more. The exhibits are family friendly and range from Special Interest Cars to Mickey Mouse, creating an experience the whole family can enjoy. Visitors tend to spend anywhere from one to five hours here. You are encouraged to plan on spending the whole day so you can enjoy all of the exhibits at a comfortable pace. However, you do not need much time to appreciate this inspiring history of the auto industry.

Great for people who love cars and are nostalgic. A trip down memory lane. You can even buy their cars!

If you love cars this is a great place to visit, great for kids also. They have cars of the stars like batmobile,munster car, speed racer mark5,blues brothers car plus many more. Muscle cars , old classic cars, Cars are for sale in there. Plenty of stuff to see, well worth the visit. Its been a while since I have been here but cant wait to go back.

Overall we enjoyed our visit to the Volo Auto Museum. The exhibits were interesting and we'd consider returning if not for this issue. We were disappointed that the military discount was not extended to a military spouse with a military ID. Therefore the poor review. Spouses of military personnel also "serve" and deserve a little special attention. Most museums in the Chicago area award discounts to the entire military family, let alone the spouse. I think the Volo Auto Museum could afford to give the $3 discount for the adult ticket and acknowledge military families.
