Atlantis Submarines Waikiki provides a breathtaking experience as guests see up close colorful marine life, vibrant artificial reefs created from sunken ships, airplane parts and other structures. It’s like scuba diving without getting wet!

Due to updated Coast Guard requirements, all guests and crew must wear masks while in enclosed spaces aboard all our vessels which include Atlantis Submarines. Atlantis Adventures will no longer require guests to show proof of vaccinations or negative Covid-19 tests at the time of check-in.

What To Expect

Atlantis Submarines Waikiki

The Atlantis submarine Hawaii adventure begins with a short (approximately 10 minutes) shuttle ride out to the submarine boarding site. Descending below, your time underwater on the Oahu submarine tour is around 45 minutes. Returning to the world above, your shuttle is waiting to return you to land. The Oahu submarine tour dive site is home to many Hawaiian fish, coral and turtles. On this truly eye-opening experience, you'll visit sunken ships, airplanes and other artificial reefs. The submarine has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. If you haven't taken a trip to the bottom of the ocean before, the Atlantis Submarine Oahu Adventure is a "must do" for the whole family during your visit to Hawaii. Check out the world's largest hi-tech 64-passenger submarine offers an enhanced amount of personal space and large viewports only available to Premium Tour passengers.

The boat ride was good getting to the submarine. The sub itself was neat but you do not see much at all except a few fish and turtles. The plane and shipwreck are props put there by the company.

I don’t always write reviews but I had such an amazing time I felt like I needed to share my experience. We are staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village which is where the submarine location is at. It was so easy to book at the kiosk on the beach and we were able to book an hour before. When we got to the dock we were informed that we might not be able to go out because of low visibility and we could either get a full refund or reschedule for anytime. We went right out on time and we took a boat out to the submarine. The boat ride was beautiful and we got a great view of the Waikiki shoreline and of diamond head. The main event, the submarine, was spectacular! Our guide, Jamin, was fantastic. He was so informative of all the different marine life and everything Atlantis has done to help make the reefs. We were able to see so many different fish and Jamin knew them all! I would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Waikiki!! 10/10

Great attraction! The staff was great and explained everything. The marine life was spectacular and the man made Riggs we’re not only environmentally friendly but cool to see. Definitely recommend.
