What To Expect

Atlantis Submarines Waikiki

The Atlantis submarine Hawaii adventure begins with a short (approximately 10 minutes) shuttle ride out to the submarine boarding site. Descending below, your time underwater on the Oahu submarine tour is around 45 minutes. Returning to the world above, your shuttle is waiting to return you to land. The Oahu submarine tour dive site is home to many Hawaiian fish, coral and turtles. On this truly eye-opening experience, you'll visit sunken ships, airplanes and other artificial reefs. The submarine has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. If you haven't taken a trip to the bottom of the ocean before, the Atlantis Submarine Oahu Adventure is a "must do" for the whole family during your visit to Hawaii. Check out the world's largest hi-tech 64-passenger submarine offers an enhanced amount of personal space and large viewports only available to Premium Tour passengers.

We had great experience looking at the world inside the ocean. It's a different world out there. Beautiful views, fishes, turtles, sharks, etc. The sinked ships views were good too. Overall it's a worth watch. The crew was knowledgeable and provided detailed information. I would surely recommend others to go for this trip.

This was a great experience (viewing the ocean floor). I think the ticket price is fair. Total trip was about 2 hours. Pretty easy and smooth boarding both ways. All of the crew except one employee was great. We did the big sub tour and the employee on the sub talked and laughed the entire time to someone on her headset (I’m guessing another crew member?). My family and I were on the end of the row which was right next to her and we missed the entire tour guide narration because she was talking and laughing literally the entire time. Employee was a young, blonde hair girl and I could not believe how inconsiderate she was being since people paid to have this experience. Nevertheless, we saw sharks, turtles, fish, sting rays, star fish, divers, and we were treated to some dolphins jumping alongside the boat on our ride back to the dock.

Trip out to sub was very rough, lots of people being sick. Sub itself was comfortable and not claustrophobic at all. Not really a lot to see, its not lots of pretty coral and fish. Mainly sea grass and a couple of fish. Evan was very entertaining as our guide. At over $300 AUD for two people this was very pricey.
