What To Expect

Atlantis Submarines Waikiki

The Atlantis submarine Hawaii adventure begins with a short (approximately 10 minutes) shuttle ride out to the submarine boarding site. Descending below, your time underwater on the Oahu submarine tour is around 45 minutes. Returning to the world above, your shuttle is waiting to return you to land. The Oahu submarine tour dive site is home to many Hawaiian fish, coral and turtles. On this truly eye-opening experience, you'll visit sunken ships, airplanes and other artificial reefs. The submarine has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. If you haven't taken a trip to the bottom of the ocean before, the Atlantis Submarine Oahu Adventure is a "must do" for the whole family during your visit to Hawaii. Check out the world's largest hi-tech 64-passenger submarine offers an enhanced amount of personal space and large viewports only available to Premium Tour passengers.

I've always wanted to scuba dive but don't have the time not the money to do it. This is an amazing way to go 100 feet down!!! I was thrilled with how many fish we saw, plus we saw turtles, dolphins, a shark, and a ray. The narrator had lots of good "dad" jokes. We took out 2.5 year old who barely meet the height requirement. She loves fish and had been talking about seeing fish in Hawaii since we booked the trip, so we waited to see how she's handle the plane ride and once we saw she handled it very well we knew she'd do fine on the sub. Sure enough she had a blast! If you have a super active or less interested kid, it may not be the best idea as it is a tight place with lots of people close.

This was amazing! The boat ride to the submarine offers great views of Waikiki and Honolulu with the mountains behind them. Once on the submarine, we were taken to a back up site since there wasn’t much clarity at their primary site. I was worried that we would be missing out but I was so wrong! We were taken to a shipwreck at the bottom of the ocean. We saw many different kinds of fish, a shark, a spotted eagle ray, and sea turtles on the way back. I would definitely do this again!

My family and I had a great experience on Oahu Atlantis and I highly recommend it. How many people do you know that can say they've been on a real submarine? We saw sea turles, sunken ships and schools of fish. So cool!
