Atlantis Submarines Waikiki provides a breathtaking experience as guests see up close colorful marine life, vibrant artificial reefs created from sunken ships, airplane parts and other structures. It’s like scuba diving without getting wet!

Due to updated Coast Guard requirements, all guests and crew must wear masks while in enclosed spaces aboard all our vessels which include Atlantis Submarines. Atlantis Adventures will no longer require guests to show proof of vaccinations or negative Covid-19 tests at the time of check-in.

What To Expect

Atlantis Submarines Waikiki

The Atlantis submarine Hawaii adventure begins with a short (approximately 10 minutes) shuttle ride out to the submarine boarding site. Descending below, your time underwater on the Oahu submarine tour is around 45 minutes. Returning to the world above, your shuttle is waiting to return you to land. The Oahu submarine tour dive site is home to many Hawaiian fish, coral and turtles. On this truly eye-opening experience, you'll visit sunken ships, airplanes and other artificial reefs. The submarine has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. If you haven't taken a trip to the bottom of the ocean before, the Atlantis Submarine Oahu Adventure is a "must do" for the whole family during your visit to Hawaii. Check out the world's largest hi-tech 64-passenger submarine offers an enhanced amount of personal space and large viewports only available to Premium Tour passengers.

Although I wasn't happy to find out that the ships and plane wings were put there like props, it was still cool to see the marine life under the sea.. The staff was completely amazing, I had 2 vision impaired yound adults with me that they went above and beyond assisting them on/off the boat and submarine..was very impressed!! Thank you

Naturally, Waikiki has very sparse reef environments, and over the past 100 years the natural reef has been disappearing. Atlantis has helped reverse this dissipation by introducing man-made reef developments, which have greatly increased the biomass of fish, coral and other marine life. A fantastic opportunity to see below the surface. Unfortunately, our trip had to be abandoned due to poor visibility so we only got a short trip. Even though it was short I still enjoyed it. I would suggest booking an early time. I was concerned that it might be difficult with destiny, I was wrong. You fit sideways and everyone has a great view. It was also well organised. I was also impressed that when the trip was abandoned we were told starlight away we could reschedule or have a refund. I would have rescheduled but we were leaving the next day so had to get a refund. I was so impressed that this was offered and processed immediately, no hesitation. I think this speaks highly of the integrity of the company as a lot would not do this as we were halfway through. I wish we could have rescheduled and seen the true beauty we had s glimpse of. A great trip.
