Due to updated Coast Guard requirements, all guests and crew must wear masks while in enclosed spaces aboard all our vessels which include Atlantis Submarines. Atlantis Adventures will no longer require guests to show proof of vaccinations or negative Covid-19 tests at the time of check-in.

What To Expect

Atlantis Submarines Waikiki

The Atlantis submarine Hawaii adventure begins with a short (approximately 10 minutes) shuttle ride out to the submarine boarding site. Descending below, your time underwater on the Oahu submarine tour is around 45 minutes. Returning to the world above, your shuttle is waiting to return you to land. The Oahu submarine tour dive site is home to many Hawaiian fish, coral and turtles. On this truly eye-opening experience, you'll visit sunken ships, airplanes and other artificial reefs. The submarine has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. If you haven't taken a trip to the bottom of the ocean before, the Atlantis Submarine Oahu Adventure is a "must do" for the whole family during your visit to Hawaii. Check out the world's largest hi-tech 64-passenger submarine offers an enhanced amount of personal space and large viewports only available to Premium Tour passengers.

It was a wonderful experience .you start of with a boat cruise with awsome view then you have this amazing crew guide you into the sub and go 100 feet under water to see some beautiful views of coral rifes.

For our group this was a Must-Do before we leave. I pre-booked it and paid about $120/pp. The boat ride out was short maybe 15 20 minutes. Being overweight and a plus size gal I was slightly worried about getting my butt over onto the sub and then "down" the hold into the sub, but it was very simple they had a great walk way bridge to get over to the sub and take the ladder down slowly and you'll be just fine. Our guide was great, don't remember her name, but very informative answering all of our questions before we had the chance to ask. Our captain was also great and informative as well. We saw sea turtles and lots of fish. We appreciated the history and stories behind everything! It was great! I don't think it is something I need to do again, but it was awesome to have experienced it! I think the best part was on the boat back they were informing us the process and procedure for the sub going down for the next tour and allowed us awesome access and viewpoints for photos of the other group descending! That was extremely interesting!!!!! Highly recommend to do at least once!
