Great trip and good exercise. Brian was a fun guide--loved his bird friends. Getting back into paddling a kayak took some remembering, but is very do-able even for beginners. The hike reminded me of parts of the Kalalau trail--one of my favorite places.

The whole trip was outstanding. The kayaking on the river was beautiful. The hike to the falls was a little challenging but fascinating and fun. The falls were gorgeous. Definitely get in and go under the falls to look out. Easiest way is to approach from the right side, hug the wall and go underneath from right to left. But the best part of the trip was our guide Brian who was both very informative and extremely entertaining. If you get Brian, ask him about the Menehune 😂
