I am giving this 3 stars but not because of the company or the tour itself. My tour was incomplete. I wasn't able to go on the full tour because of the rain from the night before made the river dangerously passable. We had to turn around right before we made the stop for the secret falls hike. Our guide was so nice to us. He had called us before hand to confirm time and even made a grocery store run to pick up more snacks for the journey. He gave us recommendations for places to eat, see, and have a good time. The kayak itself was nice and enjoyable but not being able to do the hike part I wanted to do the most soured my way home for me. Of course, not the companies fault but is the reason for my lower score

Brian was an amazing guide. He was fun and engaging, and his intellectual curiousity stood out. Our group was 4 adults and 6 kids ages 7-16. He made it fun for all. Request him if he is available, and you'll feel lucky if he assigned to you!

Would totally recommend this trip, even to the inexperienced kayaker.
Our tour guide, Brian, was excellent. Loved the stories he shared. Very patient with all the participants, even the young child in the group. He was wonderful with the little one, having fun with her and showing her all kinds of neat things along the trail...that not only she found amazing and intriguing but so did we adults. He was very safety conscious, didn't fear any part of the hike...muddy at times, wading through river at times... I just decided to leave my sneakers there to dry out and for future hikers to use. My husband only had good sneakers with him, and did use a pair that some one else had left behind. : I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.
