This kayak/hiking excursion to the Secret Falls is fantastic! Our tour guide Brian was a wonderful leader and only made the tour better. I highly recommend you are in good shape for this tour! It's about 4 1/2 miles (total) of kayaking and just over two miles of hiking. Footing is tricky in many parts of the hike - sensible shoes are a MUST. The Falls are beautiful! Water is cold and the pool bottom is rocky and slippery. Well worth the time though.

Amazing! Brian is a super guide, not leaving anyone behind very personable and engages in conversation when appropriate. This is a must experience event but if you are not used to all this activity, expect to be sore. Take some excellent water/hiking sandals because you will be walking though water.

This was our first time kayaking-we had a great time. The river was very calm and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The hike was also a lot of fun- a bit muddy though but was expected as we read other reviews earlier. Bring water-proof shoes preferably (closed-toe) and bug spray and sunscreen. The waterfall was a lot of fun too-we dipped in the water. Our tour guide James was very nice and helpful and showed us some interesting birds on the way.
