I own kayaks ... I kayak all the time ... I heard about this and took the tour with my wife. Most people on the tour have never kayaked. Best kayak tour imaginable ... how do you get better than kayaking up a large fresh water river in the middle of the Pacific Ocean (only fresh water river in Hawaii) ... through the jungle ... then a hike up to a 100 foot high water fall with a pool the you can swim in and stand right under the blasting water fall for the best shower of your life. Wife and I loved it. Duke's is great and did it for a competitive price ... and I would have gladly paid more for the epic experience.

This was a lot of fun. We kayaked 2 1/2 miles, hiked a mile to a beautiful waterfall, hiked back, and then kayaked 2 1/2 miles back. The main guide, Ryan, was very nice and friendly. The guide in training was aloof. But that was ok - the trip was a lot of fun and beautiful.

This was a kayak adventure for sure, for my friend and I, we had little to no experience on a kayak. We definitely struggled going up the river, however our tour guide Ryan was very patient, help and kayaked with us along the way. His positivity is contagious, he's pretty hilarious too, 'teamwork makes the dream work" The scenery up and down the river is absolutely gorgeous. The hike wasn't bad at all. Ryan was also knowledgable about the area. The waterfall is breathtaking and the water was refreshing.
