My husband and I did this tour and really loved it (except for one issue - see the end of the review). Expect 1.5 hour of kayaking each way to get to the hiking place. When you get there, you park your kayak and hike about an hour or more to get to this amazing waterfall. We loved swimming there and just having a snack by the waterfall. Then an hour hike back and then kayak back to the dock! pretty physical day but totally worth it. We loved our guide Makayla! She was sweet, helpful, resourceful and funny...an absolute delight. The only problem was that tour operator didn't have anyone helping the guests with the loading and unloading of the heavy and awkward shaped kayaks. They were VERY heavy and Makayla had to ask the guest to help. That is never good. They had made us sign a release of liability in the beginning of the tour but that would not stand if anyone hurt themselves while moving/transporting kayaks at the request of the tour guide. Other than that it was great.
