Join us on Kauai as we explore Hanalei, known for it's cascading waterfall's, breath taking beaches, and rich culinary history. The last commercial town before the legendary Napali coast, Hanalei a beautifully small and prosperous community. Our group will meet up at a local spot, where we'll get to know each other and begin sampling delicious food. We will be walking to select local favorites to try signature dishes. No better way to learn about the local foods than trying for yourself. Each of our vendors has selected and prepared special sevings for you. Come Hungry and leave full! A fun walking tour thru the town of Hanalei. Not only were we able to sample wonderful food, but history too! We learned so much about the area, culture, plants, and ate at favorite local spots.

Food was ok. Narrator was knowledgeable. Expected more unique foods as opposed to chicken , poke and pie.

Aloha Don_M, Sorry to hear you did not enjoy. Especially the locals favorite plate, the "Hawaiian chili pepper chicken". Goal is to curate and serve unique items, like the local fresh caught ahi tuna poke, as most poke sold in Hawaii is caught and shipped from out of state. Along with featuring locally grown macadamia nuts in the pie. In fact out of all my reviews across several platforms, most mentioning their love for these plates, this is my first negative review. Never intended to mislead or set false expectation. This is not a fine dinning experience. If you care to share more on how this could have happened please email me the details. Excellent Tour. Max made my birthday extra special. Enjoyed every aspect of the tour. Food was tasty. Best was the dognuts. Max was engaging and knowledgeable of the Island. Group was a nice size 8 ppl. I will definitely will return next time I come . Thank you Max .
