The last commercial town before the legendary Napali coast, Hanalei a beautifully small and prosperous community. Our group will meet up at a local spot, where we'll get to know each other and begin sampling delicious food. We will be walking to select local favorites to try signature dishes. No better way to learn about the local foods than trying for yourself. Each of our vendors has selected and prepared special sevings for you. Come Hungry and leave full! This tour was great and delicious and I learned so much about what goes into a REALLY EXCELLENT poke bowl, and even though I didn’t think I liked raw fish, I did LOVE the dish. I have tried it again, since our tour and definitely confirmed that the one that Max introduced us to was superior. We learned about the food and culture of Hawaii and ate in a beautiful setting. Max went above and beyond to meet our needs and introduce us to Hawaiian foods that we had never experienced before. I do recommend showing up EARLY for the tour so that it can start on time and not conflict with the Vendors breaks.

Very fulfilling tour. Max is very knowledgeable about the Hanalei food establishments so this is a nice excursion to start your Kauai vacation. He also will answer questions about the food service industry in Kauai and all the islands due to his first hand experience. And he also throws in some Hawaiin history for good measure. Highly recommend.
