The tour led by Alan was informative and very interesting. He mixed in short stories and anecdotes along with the facts.

Our guide - I think his name was Steve - knew an incredible amount about Boston’s history and delivered it at times with a dry ironic humour, which added to the interest. We did the full tour which took us to the Marathon finishing line, and enjoyed it all. I’m sure we would have learnt just a fraction of what we did if we’d walked the Trail without him.
