Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Boston on this 2-hr Guided Walking Tour of the Downtown Freedom Trail between Faneuil Hall and Boston Common and then travel to Copley Square in Back Bay via Beacon Hill. The Downtown Boston portion of the popular Freedom Trail features many of the locations of historical significance to the United States including the Old State House, Old Granary Burial Ground, and the site of the Boston Massacre. We will then see where the Boston aristocracy lives on Beacon Hill on our way to the Boston Public Garden and see the Victorian brownstones in historic Back Bay. See the famous Cheers restaurant, Newbury Street and Commonwealth Avenue on our way to the Boston Marathon Finish Line. A great overview of Boston and its history. A great introduction to Boston. Might have preferred to end at the duck park and miss the long walk to the Boston Marathon finish line. There is a shorted version offered.

The guide was very knowledgeable but proceeded at a cracking pace I guess because he had so much to fit in.

We do have a lot to share with you, but never try to rush through the tour. We pace the tour for those in the group. Does the "cracking" pace mean you felt we walked too fast for you?

Very knowledgeable and interesting tour guide, debunking some common beliefs. Right length walking tour with some hills. Historical sites including black freedom area, Beacon Hill, Boston Commons. Along the way our group had a few choices as what to cover. We were unable to book a more expensive tour, fortunately, because it couldn't have been this good.
