After a 41/2 hour drive was really looking forward to seeing the sights of Washington. Unbeknown to us when we booked this tour it was Memorial week-end and we did not expect 500,000 bikers to arrive in Washington on the same day. Most of the major roads were closed around the major attractions and therefore had to park several blocks away. This meant that our time at each site was severely restricted and at thecLincoln memorial did not have time to see either the Korean or Vietnam memorials. We also was looking forward to seeing Arlington cemetery which we did not get to. As I am recovering from a broken ankle I would not have booked this tour if I had known how much walking would be involved. I have used Viator many times and have always been very satisfied with the service but feel badly let down this time.
it was a nice experience but everything was in a rush. I took my parents who were visiting from Colombia and they were very tired at the end from running aroound. I also didnt like the fack that there were not food choices for lunch. McDonalds was not a good meal for us.
Late leaving by 30-40 mins with minimal communication prior to getting on the bus. Sites were great - food stops were awful, unless you like fast food/McDonalds. Long day.
