What To Expect

Johnson Square

We will learn about the beginning of Georgia and tour the original squares. Discuss the Colonial way of life churches, monuments and markers in this area as we journey into a timeline walk of the Historic District. Then our tour proceeds down Bull Street. The tour is one miles of walking and includes stops at Civil War homes, Cemetery, Theaters and famous movie locations.

Michelle is a wonderful tour guide. She knows her history well and all the movies filmed in The historic district. I really like that she keeps her groups small. It makes it so much better to hear her and be able to ask questions. I thoroughly enjoyed her walking tour and highly recommend her.

My hubby and I took this tour this morning with Michelle. It was our first time in Savannah. For a Sunday morning, we had quite a big group of people. Nonetheless, Michelle did a great job making sure everyone could hear her and she answered any question you might've had. You can tell how passionate she is about history and we learned so much from her!! I would definitely recommend this tour. We booked a month in advance since we knew we'd be in Savannah for the weekend and I could tell how genuine she was on the phone. She spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me answering some questions I had and gave me some excellent recommendations. Thank you, Michelle.

We were able to make a last minute reservation with the Savannah Belle Walking Tours and enjoyed it thoroughly. Our guide, was a self-admitted history nerd and that was perfect. She told us all about the long history of the city sights and also the many movies to have been made in the city. It was enjoyable from beginning to end.
