What To Expect

Johnson Square

We will learn about the beginning of Georgia and tour the original squares. Discuss the Colonial way of life churches, monuments and markers in this area as we journey into a timeline walk of the Historic District. Then our tour proceeds down Bull Street. The tour is one miles of walking and includes stops at Civil War homes, Cemetery, Theaters and famous movie locations.

We really enjoyed the walking tour with Michelle this morning. She is very passionate about what she does and she is so knowledgeable that it shows with her presentation. Michelle guided us through the historic district of Savannah, telling us about the history, architecture, famous people and statues in many of the squares. I would highly recommend Savannah Belle Tours.

This was my husband and I's first trip to Savannah and we are so thankful we did this tour. The meeting spot for the tour was very easy to locate. Michelle does a fabulous job incorporating Savannah's rich history with current happenings around the city. She was happy to answer any questions and was very knowledgeable about the historical monuments and homes. She even showed us a few locations where movies were filmed and gave some suggestions on dining and entertainment. This tour is a must!

I purchased a Groupon for a tour with Savannah walking tours, and I'm so glad I did! The tour was a great overview of the city! Michelle met us and led us on a brief, but fun and informative tour that highlighted several buildings, homes, churches, parks, squares, and memorials in town. Michelle had a lot of fun trivia to share as well as history. In addition, she shared great recommendations on other places to shop, eat and visit! She answered all the questions we had. If you're visiting Savannah, make a reservation with Savannah Belle. It was fantastic!
