Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 10 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.

This was a great and different way to enjoy the island of Maui. Being avid horseback riders we like to ride wherever we travel. We got to enjoy exceptional views from the mountains to the sea shore. We were grateful that our guides helped with all the photo opps. Nick and Chad were so great and always had safety first. Mahalo

My husband and I went on the horseback tour. The waiting area to meet our guide was a little confusing. The road up to the ranch is horrible. We had leased a Camaro and we were so worried that it was going to be damaged. There are about 50 cats a pig and a couple of sheep. I asked about the cats and was told only one was truly theirs and the rest just showed up. I'm sure that is true but all I could think of was they are not spay or neutered and just multiplying by the day. Our guides were super nice and we really enjoyed them. We went to the waterfall area to take pics but that was a bit disappointing as they are under drought condition so there was not water flowing. Because of the lack of rain we got soooo dusty. You definitely don't want to wear something you care about. All in all we had a great time!

Entrance road is awful need 4 x 4 to exit safely including hairpin turn on your exit with blind corner. Also allowing people to run in a full lope at the end is beyond dangerous since most people on the ride have no experience riding. Views were wonderful staff very friendly and helpful getting photos taken for all
