Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

I own and ride horses as part of my daily life...But riding in the mountains of Maui viewing the breathtaking views over the mountain side of the ocean...also the outline of the mountains and the beautiful local greenary. WOW. I rode a handsome, full of life horse, "TURTLE". He was responsive, willing, and I give him a 10 for behavior. They told me he was "fast", and they weren't kidding. His gallop was the best...He filled every box! This is a MUST do. The guides and team that work this ranch are wonderful. Careful of your safety, acknowledge your experience, and more. Bring your camera, they dismount and take pics of you along the way. Thank you one and all for making my day very special! Aloha, Pamela and Amigo who came with me in spirit.

The guides really ensure you are comfortable and will stop at picturesque stops to take photos. Wish they did more to provide some snacks using the natural guava and passion fruit that grows on the trail. Horses are well trained - and you even get the opportunity to gallop/run!
