Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

I had a great time on the horseback tour. It was my first time on a horse and was given Red. He was a great horse and followed direction very well. I felt safe and comfortable while riding. Would definitely do it again and highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The people at Maui Mountain Activities were personable and professional. The owner picked out horses for each rider based on their ability and experience. All staff were personable and provided great care for riders of all backgrounds. The trail was lovely and the horses were wonderful! I loved every moment!

This was by far my most favorite part of my first trip to Maui! The owners and guides were so knowledgeable and made sure you were 100% comfortable before you took off onto the trail. The staff treat the horses like they are family and the horses were very mild mannered. We ended up on the horses for over 3 hours despite the tour only being scheduled for 2.5 hours. Would highly recommend this activity for ANYONE. I was the only one out of my family who has any experience riding and the rest of my family had an easy and enjoyable experiencing riding for the first time. Next time I am in Maui, I will definitely be coming back to ride here!
