Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

For a milestone birthday, my husband took me on a Wonderful trip to Maui! All my life I wanted to ride a horse to the beach. I read on line reviews & booked the tour for my dream horseback ride! We flew to Maui, I showed up to where I thought the tour started & they DID NOT have me booked! My CREDIT CARD was charged $147. The staff on site to greet us was sarcastic & rude. I Did not receive any EMAIL confirmation for the tour which was a red flag, but I was just so excited about my horseback dream.... now a NIGHTMARE.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. We try to give everyone a great time with special memories to take home. I'm not sure what might have happened, but all I can think is that you must have booked with a third-party company that didn't call your reservation in to us since summer is the busiest time of the year. If you were charged $145.83 that's for only 1 rider and normally we will squeeze you on the ride. We have done it many times. Its always good to make sure you are confirmed for your activities ahead of time. I'm not sure what happened but I hope the rest of your trip was great.

Super friendly staff and amazing views! They take you to multiple breathtaking locations including waterfalls, volcano and the ocean! They give you brief history of the spots plus they take pictures of you! My absolute favorite part was when they let you run (lope) the horses; so much fun! Highly recommend for any occasion here in Maui!

We had a marvelous time riding horses—one advanced rider and two beginners. Our guides were excellent with all ability levels, including a special needs teenager—thank you, Derek and Selena. Chris has created a wonderful horseback riding experience on her ranch and it is obvious the horses are well cared for. I highly recommend this activity.
