very much like THe St Lawrence Market in toronto just a bit smaller. So many wonderful stalls. Lots of prepared food to eat also. We picked up some hungarian sausage, lots of local cheese, Coffee as we strolled, two huge Gyro's for a picnic. I picked up some black walnut oil, fresh veggies to eat in the car as well as candles to take home. Saw huge tomack steaks...wow.

We went on the West Side Market Food Tour last week. This was a foodie's type of visit. Carol was our tour guide and she had us try so many samples. We left not needing to buy ourselves lunch. The market was well lite, the varieties were endless, and I saw an entire pig's head for sale. The cheeses were varied and I enjoyed trying each and every one. Carol gave us each a large bottle of water which was much appreciated.

Living near reading terminal in Phila. I was looking to see how this stacked up. It TOTALLY blew away Phillys terminal. It was very clean, every vendor had their goods perfectly displayed. There were a lot of different vendors, first time I ever saw a bacon only booth. Its larger then the one in Philly and was a lot less crowded when we went. Don't miss it, only problem is if your traveling your limited on what you can take with you.
