A great adventure. I went there with my parents and wife, and had a great time. We went there on a hot summer day when the outside temperature was 85+ F. The boat left about 10 mins late. Once we got onboard and the boat started, lunch was made available. I bought 4 slices of pizza for $11. My only problem was that we didn't really get any chance to see any whale, but saw a few dolphins. It was a fun trip. Ocean was a bit crazy and a lot of people felt sick, but everyone still enjoyed it nonetheless. While I enjoyed the boat trip, I think it might have been a bit too long. So I think I'd go for the dolphin watch only the next time. By the way, the person talking on the microphone was great though. I believe that might have been the captain himself. I'd definitely recommend the boat trip. Oh, also not sure if this counts or not, I had a 3 to 4 bars of signal form Verizon, far away from the land. It was surprising, but I guess you can still be in touch with the rest of the world when you are in the sea if you are with Verizon.

Took the 1:00 trip. The captain was great. Explained alot along the way. We stopped and observed several dolphins (about 30). Then he took us out to sea. That's where we saw a whale (can't remember what kind). It was amazing. We stayed and watched it for about 45 minutes or so. I would definitely take this trip again. It was amazing

We went on the 10am dolphin cruise in mid-August using the "buy one, get one half off" special. It was a perfect day for a boat ride, and the ride alone was worth the price of admission. I was worried about it being too hot in the bright sun, but there was plenty of seating in the shade. There was also a spacious and clean interior cabin with booths near the snack bar. The snack bar offered free pastries and coffee for the morning cruise. We saw a couple dolphins very shortly after entering dolphin-spotting territory, but unfortunately those were the only ones we spotted. The captain did his best to search for more but the dolphins wouldn't cooperate. Even though we saw mammals on our trip, the captain still decided to give everyone on board a free pass for another cruise. What an honest and generous company! They were under no obligation to do so considering their guarantee is that we would see marine mammals and we did. I actually did not take the free pass because I was satisfied seeing the two dolphins (and even got pictures!) and felt that I received my money's worth. If I come back to Cape May, it would be worth it to pay again for the chance to see more dolphins or maybe even whales next time!
