In past years we had gone on similar excursions with other boat operators in Cape May and Wildwood Crest. We took the 1pm 3-hour ride on 9/2/15. This by far is light years beyond the competition. The vessel is larger and more commodious than others, it is extremely clean, the bathrooms are spotless and feature regular flush toilets, not the typical marine pump head. The master and crew were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, very accommodating. The running commentary over the PA system was informative and full of interesting facts on local history and geography, as well as about the dolphins and whales. We saw a many dolphins at the beginning of the ride and once further out, we saw whales. The pizza and hot dogs were delicious and there is a wide selection of drinks, both nonalcoholic and alcoholic, plus the usual snacks, such as chips, cookies, ice cream, etc. My 8-year-old daughter enjoyed the trip, as did my husband and mother-in-law. I would highly recommend this over other dolphin and whale watching cruises. Just as an added note, they have a great gift shop. The lady behind the counter in the gift shop was very friendly and informative. Thank you Stewart Family for a memorable trip.

I wanted to do something a little different and enjoy a beautiful summer day for my birthday this year so I decided we'd do the Cape May Whale Watcher tour this past Saturday, August 29. We had a wonderful time! The price was right, the weather was fantastic, and the cruise was so relaxing. We weren't lucky enough to see any whales, but we saw many many dolphins, and dolphins are awesome!

We loved our day but sadly did not see any whales. Tons of information given by the captain and all of the staff were very nice! We saw a lot of dolphins and it was great how they stop the engines and turn the boat around(many times) to make sure all areas of the boat get to see as much as possible. Driving to "find" the whales was really just 1.5 driving away from the shore and then driving back. That was not worth it. Of course if we saw a whale it would have been LOL. Not sure how often whales are actually spotted. I would have been fine with the 2 hour dolphin tour. Check in note: saw the special online for BIGI 50% off for adults, had an expired GC so I could not book online. When I got to check in, they were VERY ready to charge me for 4 adults. i mentioned the price I saw(which BTW did NOT say it was in online only price) and the girl gladly changed be the special rate. That felt very shady to me. Overall we had a lot of fun, a few drinks and snacks and a beautiful boat cruise.
