My husband and I went on a 4th of July whale and dolphin cruise. We went on a morning cruise which offered the free coffee and danishes (we really enjoyed that!) The weather wasn't that great, it was cloudy and the water was EXTREMELY choppy. Many people on the boat were getting sick so I suggest if you get sea sick bring medication! You can't predict how the weather or water conditions will be so come prepared. I also saw many little children on board, like infants and a few 1 and 2 yr olds. I don't suggest this at all! The water was very choppy so the parents with the babies had to sit the entire time since it was too dangerous to stand and hold a baby. These parents did not look like they were enjoying themselves. Just my opinion but I wouldn't bring babies on board it's just plain silly. Unfortunately we didn't see any whales, I didn't think we would due to all of the other reviews but it was still a disappointment. We did see many dolphins that came very close to the boat, it was pretty cool! Everyone on board was friendly, lots of sitting and standing space. We would do it again :)

I was driving up from NYC for the 6:30 pm dolphin watching trip. Called a few times to let the Captain know that I may be there a few minutes late per my GPS. I did not give up and carried on driving to the Ferry dock to perhaps say goodbye to the leaving cruise of the day. As I reached the parking lot, I asked if the last trip had left and was advised know. I could not believe it. The owner, his wife and son were kind enough to accommodate me despite a few minutes delay. I could not be happy to be on this cruise where the sun, the skies, the water and the dolphins were at their best. The cruise parking is free and the boat is a lovely red boat. I loved the fact that the Captain continued to provide running commentary and narrative throughout the beautiful trip. I have not been to Cape May in 18 years and must mention the area has improved tremendously and the experience on a sunny evening with nature on its peak was amazingly beautiful and inspiring. The dolphins seemed to be dancing in unison as the sun was ready to set and the water was going through its waves. Amazingly beautiful scene that had to be captured with the naked eye. I must mention that pictures did not do any justice to the actual scene. There is a cute store to visit after the dolphin watching trip and you can get some memorable items - post cards, book marks, sweat shirts and other stuff. Last but not least, during the 2 hour sunset cruise, pizza and hot dogs are provided (included). You can buy soda, water and other drinks (as you please for a nominal charge). I could not be more thankful to the Trio who made my visit and expedition a beautiful experience. Highly recommended boat trip with pleasant staff. https://www.capemaywhalewatcher.com/dolphin-watching.php

We had a wonderful time on the sunset cruise. The boat was very comfortable and although was very full we were still able to move about and get some great views. We encountered many pods of dolphins and Captain Jeff let us know where to expect sightings. The sunset was absolutely beautiful as we came upon the Cape May Lighthouse. Captain Jeff also gave us the history of many Cape May landmarks as we passed then on the coast. The complimentary pizza and hotdogs were a nice touch. A must see but be sure to get there early for the scheduled time. It fills up quick during the summer.
