Horrible experience...could not see any whale, ride was a nightmare. Most of the riders felt motion sickness.

Aloha SB_Mooresville, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Every review matters to us as it helps us measure how we are doing as a company and what we need to do in order to improve our tours. We care about our guests and we do everything in our power to make sure you are satisfied with our company. I understand that we do not always hit the mark. This early in the season, the whales can be tricky. Our morning cruises can spot them in the morning and by the time the afternoon hits, they are no where to be seen. However, our goal is to ensure that you see whales. With our Whale Watching Guarantee, you can come out as many times with us until you see a whale until the end of time. The only limitation to this is that the Guarantee is not transferable. As for the motion sickness, I am sorry there was not more we could do for you. Any time someone asks me what to do in response to becoming sea sick, I inform them of the best places to sit on the boat to combat the feeling or what they can do once it hits. I get sea sick myself so I can understand the discomfort and frustration that comes with it. Our goal is to provide a tour that you will enjoy, not one that you dread thinking about. I apologize for the horrible experience. There are some elements that we can control, and others that we cannot. I hope we are able to make it up to you in the future. So thrilled to see four humpback whales today (dorsal fins and spouts only, no flukes or breeches). I respect that captain Bob kept his distance from these amazing and precious animals. Dennis is a good naturalist whom I learned a lot from. I only wish we’d stayed out longer!

Aloha PhiliK, Thank you so much for joining us! We read all the reviews we receive as a means of determining where we are and how our cruises are doing. Our goal is to be best in Hawai'i and reviews such as yours help us. I am glad you enjoyed hearing from Dennis! He is a wealth of knowledge regarding our marine friends. I would love to know if the length of the tour was the only drawback. We want to be able to give you the five start experience you deserve! Feel free to contact us at [email protected]. Hope to see you out in the water with us again soon! Mahalo, Derek Williams @ Body Glove Adventures

We were on this cruise in 2008, 2012, and are looking forward to February 2020 when we plan to go on this cruise for the 3rd time! We have seen Denver, the Naturalist twice and hope to see and hear him again! This is the best cruise for those of you who have never taken a whale cruise. LOVED IT! GOING AGAIN! My favorite memories of Hawaii have been on this cruise! I had to select January 2019 as the date we visited, but actually in was Feb 2012

Aloha teresah63, We are always excited to welcome returning guests aboard the Kanoa II. Sometimes folks come again a following year, but you have made it a point to seek our Whale Watching tours out ever since 2008! What an exceptional span of time to be able to welcome you aboard time and again. Thank you for your continued patronage. One of our goals it to provide experiences that keep people coming back, so it is encouraging to see that we hit the mark with you. Unfortunately, Denver is no longer with us on the Whale Watching Tours. If you would like to know more, please feel free to send us an email at [email protected]. In the mean time, we do have naturalists on board that are looking to impart their knowledge of marine life to our guests aboard this season of Whale Watching Tours. We hope they meet your expectations when you join is in February. Once again, thank you continuing to join us on the Whale Watching Tours. See you in February! Mahalo, Derek Williams @ Body Glove Adventures
