Enjoy a stop in Laguna Beach for a photo on the cliffs!

What To Expect

Laguna Beach

After pick-up from select Anaheim hotels, head to Laguna Beach, about 35 minutes south of Anaheim. Here, you will have amazing views of the Pacific Ocean from the cliff-top at Heisler Park.

Newport Beach

Next, head to Newport Beach where you'll feel the ocean breeze as you head out on a cruise and search for whales in the Pacific Ocean.

Huntington State Beach

Last stop is Huntington Beach, home to the Surfing Walk of Fame and the Surf Museum! Here, you can shop, dine or enjoy the beautiful white sand beach! Don't forget to walk the iconic Huntington Beach Pier!

Tom was an excellent tour guide. He was informative and took our group to Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and whale watching, and Huntington Beach. He left us off in places that we could find our way back to easily and kept us informed. He texted me before pickup from my hotel and dropped me off at my hotel. The only unfortunate part of the trip was we saw no whales!! That was the main reason why I booked this tour. We saw lots of dolphins but no whales.

I would do this tour again and again. Tom was a great guide. He shared so many great suggestions for additional things to do on my trip. I traveled solo for this tour and it was amazing. Laguna beach is stunning. I opted for the whale watch boat ride at Newport Beach. No whales but saw plenty of dolphins and sea lions. The boat ride was wonderful. The others in my tour group opted to stay at the beach and had two hours there. Finally we visited Huntington Beach where I had three whole hours! Plenty of time for me to sit on the beach and watch the waves, grab a bite to eat and shop. I highly recommend this tour.

Driver was informative, friendly, and a great river overall. Made the experience memorable. The stops were great and gave enough time the only recommendation would to be a disclaimer that seeing whales is not guaranteed as we didn't see anything but the boat captain did work hard to find them. We did see dolphins, a sunfish, and sea lions though. I am sure many people came mostly to see the whales as that's the first description on the title.

I'm sorry you didn't see whales. I'm very happy to hear that the driver was "informative" and "friendly" and a "great driver". Glad he or she made the experience more "memorable" and very happy that the stops were "great"! I'll let the whales know that their unwillingness to cooperate cost us a 4 star review. We always hope for 5 which is why everything that we did was... (let me check above...) great and memorable. Rest assured, your disappointment has been noted and we will CONTINUE to tell all of our guests that whales are never guaranteed but you will see sea lions and probably dolphins, just like we told you - we do it every trip.
