Boat (catamaran) was nice and stable; crew were nice and helpful. They communicate with other boats to find whales and dolphins, and they found them! dozens of dolphins playing around, we got to see them pretty close. Only one small whale that was pretty shy. but the trip was totally worth it. We went at noon for a couple of hours. Apparently between noon and 4pm is the best time of the day.

The excursion was very good. We saw sea lions and dolphins (lots of dolphins). If only we saw a whale...I would have given them five stars ;)

Two hours out on the water was a nice amount of time. We saw hundreds of common dolphin, some sea lions, two bottlenose dolphins and a mink whale. Crew of two and a naturalist onboard. Very helpful and educational. Food and beverage available. They made grill cheese sandwiches and quesadillas to order. Nice size boat, nice and wide and open. Beautiful as ever in southern California. Convenient parking. Lots of restaurants available at wharf.
