What To Expect

Skagway Alaska Downtown

Meet your guide, board the comfortable vehicle and enjoy a short tour of Skagway’s historic district before climbing steeply towards the Chilkoot Mountains.

British Columbia

The dramatic scenery of the White Pass summit soon surrounds you. This is a wonderland of impressive peaks, azure lakes and stunted forests. The pace is unhurried; you will have ample time to enjoy the view with stops at choice scenic locations.

Yukon Suspension Bridge

Past the summit visit the Yukon Suspension Bridge, where you can venture out onto the bridge to get stunning views of the turbulent waters of the Tutshi River below. Learn the about Gold Rush history and the natural history of the area. Walk along the boardwalk and immerse yourself in the miniature world of alpine wildflowers.

Christine was great! She was knowledgeable about the areas we were seeing and stayed active so we could all enjoy the experience without much hassle. She knew all of the great spots to stop and get pictures as well! I would take this tour again!

We absolutely loved the Yukon Suspension bridge excursion. The drive was beautiful and just breathtaking! He stopped along the way to allow us to take pics at scenic views. Only thing I wish is we had more time at the Yukon bridge but we were on a cruise and had limited time in Skagway. The view at the bridge was amazing! We had hot chocolate while we were there at the little cafe. So good!

Thanks for this great review of your tour with us. Our guides know the best pullouts for photos and our small vehicles can fit into pullouts where the big buses can't. I understand that you wanted to spend more time at the Suspension Bridge. September is a great month to be up in the Yukon with the aspen trees turning yellow and fresh snow on the peaks.
