Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

A bucket list item. Such a great experience with my daughters. Equipment in great shape. Our guide, Randall, was fantastic. Great mix of rapids and floats. Beautiful scenery. Little swim at the end.

Everybody was friendly and courteous starting with making reservations. They took their time to explain the different types of rafting and answer my many questions. Elton is a great guide, we were very nervous and his expertise quickly turned our anxiety into memories that will last a lifetime! I would recommend big creek rafting to anybody from young to old. If you’re nervous ask for Elton he’s the best!

I have been whiter water rafting before on the Pigeon River with another company in the past. This time went to Big Creek Expeditions as a company outing with other co-workers. At this place there is ample parking and is not so crowded like the other places. My river guide Joey , with the years of experience he has and his awesome personality made me and our other riders very comfortable. The experience with Joey on the ride down the river was a very very very very enjoyable one. Lets just say , I know where I will be sending people and who I would highly recommend as a guide. Joey and the Big Creek staff , thank you for a great experience.
