Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

What an amazing experience—- we were in Pigeon Forge for my son’s Cal Ripken Tournament and decided to try this at the last minute. Called the office, booked for 4 pm on Aug 14. The guide we got was incredible! Ask for Jimmy, or his nickname “Freebird”. He knew everything about the river, was funny— great with the kids, and made the experience so much fun. Woukd rate this a 10/10. Highly recommend!

First time white water rafting and it was so much fun. Ernie, our guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of fun facts and answered all of my questions and made me feel very relaxed. Highly recommend!

Our family of four chose another rafting company for our trip to Tennessee. Due to Covid they shut down and refunded our money. It perhaps was fate we ended up booking with big creek expedition. It was all of our first time rafting and they recommended the upper pigeon. It is great for us first timers. Our guide 'Dudley' aka Dillon was exceptional. He tells you a ton of bs stories but that's what makes him the best. He loves the river and you can tell his passion for rafting AND seeing others smiles and stories is genuine. NOT sure if this place needs more positive reviews and I've never posted a review on TripAdvisor but if you want fun, exciting memories to last a life time please choose this company. My boys are 11 and 19. Water shoes can be purchased on site and they have really nice overpriced souvenirs to boot lol. Thanks big creek and all the staff / crews. You made our trip!!!!
