Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

Fun family trip. Toni was great and taught us how to spin the boat through the rapids. My kids loved the experience. And there were even food trucks near the entrance so we got snow cones after our rafting trip.

We had such a fantastic experience with Big Creek Expeditions! First, the check-in process at their outpost was incredibly easy and smooth. The shop has lots of merchandise to choose from and their restroom/changing building was very nice. Our guide was Jedi Mike, and he was awesome! If we are back in the area, we will definitely book through them again!

We had a large family group (16 people). We made our reservations in advance online and then completed the waivers when we arrived. The people who checked us in were friendly, patient, and able to efficiently handle the craziness of a large group. The guide for our raft, Jack, was really good. He kept up a running commentary on the terrain and things we were seeing, and he knew how to maneuver the raft to get the most people splashed (we all wanted to get soaked!). This was our second year rafting with Big Creek Expeditions, and we will go with them again the next time our family reunion is in Tennesee!
