Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

Our family of 5 includes 12 and 10 year olds. Cody was our guide and did a great job and kept it fun and safe. We debated between the other trip and this one and we are so glad we opted for the Class 3 & 4 rapids over the float. So much fun!

Our experience with Big Creek Expeditions was one of the highlights of our trip. We saved it for the last day and I am so glad we did. Brett was our guide and he was not only knowledgeable, but also very entertaining. Ask for Brett if you happen to take a trip rafting in The Great Smokey Mountains.
