Our guide was Jedi Mike, and he said "I'm an old-school rafter" with more than 30 years of experience. He made us confident and safe, made sure all of us got wet ("equal opportunity"), pointed out all the features of the river as we went along, including the names of all the rapids and how they've changed over the years, took us "surfing," and found time to ask about us and our trip in general. He kept everything light but made sure we took safety seriously. The scenery was great, the rapids were an adrenaline jolt each time, and we four plus two more in our boat learned to work as a team pretty quickly. Would recommend and hope to come back!

We hope to have you back, too! Jedi Mike is a class act, as are all of our guides here at Big Creek. We are incredibly lucky to have a staff that loves what they do and it certainly shows. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience.

Having never been white water rafting before, I was pretty nervous. Especially since we were taking our 14 and 12 year old children with us. Turns out, we all had a great time! There was a moment or two that was a little scary but I'm not the most adventurous person either. Stoney was our guide and he was great! Kept us safe and laughing the whole time! If you have never tried this, definitely worth it. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable.
