We booked the Wildlife and Turnagain Arm tour because we wanted to visit the Wildlife Conservation Centre. Our tour got changed to an hour later to that than planned and was advertised as a 4.5 hour tour. We drove around Turnagain Arm which was scenic and got to stop at several places along the way to get out and take photos which we appreciated. It was actually 4 hours alone before we even got to the Wildlife centre because we went via the Portage Glacier which other guests had booked an hour long cruise on meaning we were going to be there for an hour which wasn't advertised and we were a bit confused at what we were supposed to do during this time as we didn't know we were going to be there. Our driver told us there was a cafe to get food or there was a museum but it turned out the museum was closed so we paid extra to go on the glacier cruise which was AMAZING. We then went to the wildlife centre in time to see the bear feeding and got 45 minutes there, it was an interesting places with some amazing animals. All in all the tour took around six hours, we didn't mind as we hadn't had plans for the evening and we enjoyed the glacier cruise but it would have been nice to have a heads up before we went that others on the tour had the cruise booked and we would be expected to wait for them and we would be out longer than advertised as nothing was ever communicated. Still, it was a really good tour and i'd recommend it. The bus was small so it didn't take long for everyone to get on and off the bus at photo stops and Alaska is fascinating, the views are unrivalled and this was a nice day out from Anchorage.

This was a wonderful trip. The guide was patient and knowledgeable. The views were magnificent. It was nice to get out of the city to see the real Alaska.

Very comfortable. Lots of opportunities to get off the bus, see lots of different things, and do a bit of walking here and there. The guide did a nice job answering all questions, gave good info throughout. He even offered to make the tour a bit longer than planned, also co.
