Wildlife and Whale Watching Excursion.

Overview

We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessel has indoor seating and outdoor covered seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the best wildlife viewing opportunities here in Ketchikan. Our vessel is Wheelchair accessible! Tour is usually 2 to 2.5 hours in duration Please understand we do not Guarantee Whales or offer refunds for not seeing them but we will try our best to keep our 90% sighting rate for this season going!!!

Book this excursion. Boat was very comfortable and safe for our party that included a toddler, pregnant mom and limited mobility senior. Compared to other activities we looked at, price point was most reasonable. Jesse is a very experienced, qualified and considerate captain- he even called us ahead of time to share that a pod of humpbacks had been spotted nearby, so we could get started if we wanted. We tracked that pod of 6 or 7 humpbacks for 3 hrs and saw lots of wildlife along the way. Great value for money and would definitely recommend it to anyone. We look forward to seeing Jesse again when we return!

We thought this excursion would be canceled because it was raining so hard and the waters were so rough. The captain was very nice and knowledgeable but I feel that considering the weather that we should have been offered an alternate time or a cancelation. There was no way to see whales or any other sealife with the heavy rains and huge waves. Our daughter got very sick from the motion of the boat in the high waves. I would definitely consider the weather in that area at the time you are visiting before booking.
